Welcome to the Music City Power Squadron![]() Music City Power Squadron Commander
Bruce MacDonald We are Nashville’s Boating Club! We’re the local folks who go boating (safely) on Old Hickory, Percy Priest, Center Hill, Dale Hollow, Kentucky, Barkley, Tims Ford, and Pickwick Lakes and we cruise the Cumberland, Tennessee, Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. …and our members have also cruised on the Great Lakes, the Great Loop, the Gulf, the Inter-Coastal Waterway, the Caribbean, The Pacific Northwest, The South Pacific, Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and the Erie, Rideau, Trent, and Welland Canals…and even canals in England and Holland. Yup…our members do a lot of boating. And if you love boating, then you’ve found the club to join. Yes, we’re part of the United States Power Squadrons and yes we’re proud of our history and traditions but, when all is said and done, we’re just folks who paddle, sail and power just about anything that floats. Whether you’re new to boating or an “old-salt”, you’ll enjoy the camaraderie and the knowledge and confidence that you’ll gain by taking our boating courses (from entry-level to senior navigator) as well as learning from fellow boaters who just can’t stop talking about boating. Welcome aboard
