Welcome to the Music City Power Squadron![]() Music City Power Squadron Commander
Tom Hudson We are sailors, powerboaters, and paddlers, and we get around – not just on Old Hickory and Percy Priest Lakes. Our members boat on all the lakes of the Cumberland and Tennessee River systems, and we travel far and wide, from the Gulf of Mexico to the canals of Europe, from the Great Loop to the Pacific Northwest. We are serious boaters, but that does not mean that we know all there is to know on the subject. We do a very good job of teaching the fundamentals of safe boating to the general public, including teens seeking their Tennessee boating license. And we are constantly upgrading one another’s knowledge through the advanced grade USPS courses, electives and seminars. We are an inclusive group – we are native Nashvillians and transplants from Canada, the Midwest, the Northeast and wherever people have enjoyed boating. We welcome those moving to our fair climes as well as those from around here who want to get out on the many lakes with which we are blessed. We have fun on the water, and we know how to do so safely. Come join us! ![]() Click here to download the squadron brochure (PDF, tri-fold)
