Delight nature-lovers with a Blue Heron Cruise down the Cumberland River in Nashville. Bring your binoculars, as wildlife abounds on the forested banks. Head down scenic Hwy. 70 for an equally scenic ride down the Harpeth River You can also drive south to Henry Horton State Park. Canoeing the Duck River is easy with convenient canoe rentals off I-65. Take the family to Marrowbone Lake, just 15 minutes north of Nashville near Joelton. Friends tell us this 60 acre stocked lake is Nashville's best kept water secret! Boat rentals are available.
